Rain drop technique is a gentle relaxing health promoting process that involves applying therapeutic grade essential oils to the feet, back and spine. It is a form of aromatherapy developed by D. Gary Young, founder of Young Living Oils and inspired by Lakota traditions.
Raindrop combines various aspects of Native American healing techniques with aromatherapy. It utilizes the power of essential oils and feather stroking touch to assist in bringing the body into structural and electrical alignment. At least nine highly antimicrobial essential oils are “vitaflexed” (a gentle pressing and rolling movement) onto the feet. In addition theses same oils are dropped and feathered gently along the spine from waist to neck. Within 20 minutes each of the oils is able to reach every cell of the body. The process takes about an hour to complete, however the oils will continue to work in the body for up to one week following a treatment.
Benefits may include: a boost the immune system, detoxification of petrochemical, cessation of cold or flu symptoms, relief from stressor anxiety, alleviation of muscle and verve pain, relief of chronic back pain. Conditions such as viral infections, scoliosis and chronic fatigue also benefit from the technique. Some who have received a Raindrop procedure have reported a release of emotions such as grief and fear patterns.
In rare cases headaches, tiredness, and nausea may be experienced as a result of the detoxification of the body. These symptoms are temporary.
